Central High School
Class Of 1961

Hello and greetings to all!

SPRING!  For those of us in the cooler climes, we have Spring!  Seems like the winters are harder on me and keep getting even moreso.  Guess that's why Lois and I spend 5 weeks in Florida or the surrounding area - most of the time we take a side trip either on the way down or the way back to Minnesota.  New Orleans, St Augustine and the Great Smokies are just a sample of our "extra" travels.

We are fortunate and very blessed to have the ability to travel.  And we do!  Just this past month we flew to Phoenix to visit friends and also to attend a Major League Baseball game - yes - in Phoenix.  So - what is notable about that?  That visit to Chase Field in downtown Phoenix marked our 30th MLB stadium!  Yes, we have now seen a MLB ballgame in all of the active MLB stadiums (should that be stadia?).  I am often asked which of them is my favorite?  They are all nice - even the hated Yankee stadium!  But I think the one(s) that I particularly remember is Globe Life Field - the home of the Texas Rangers, and Camden Yards - the home of the Baltimore Orioles.

This coming July 5th Lois and I will celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.  Seems like yesterday - but as we all know - time accelerates with age! I mean we've only really been out of school a few years - right?

So now your turn - please update your profile, write a note to all, let us know where you are and what has been happening with you and yours.  Also - please - take a minute and encourage someone who hasn't maybe signed up on the class website.  If you know of someone's whereabouts - reach out - and please let me know so that I can include them.

Thanks - and watch here for details about a date that the Class of 1961 will get together.

Be happy - stay healthy - Live well!
