After barely touching the keys for 40 years, I restarted my music career here in Naples, FL. a few years ago. I play either as a solo piano player/vocalist or with one of my bands, "The Lois Kehoe Trio," or with my larger group, "Lois Kehoe & Friends." This past years, I was elected President of the Naples Jazz Society, Inc. which has three active bands that play in the Naples area. I am also the vocalist for their Naples Jazzmasters Dixieland Band which plays concerts throughout the year. My dream was to one day sing with a big band, but at age 78 I wasn't feeling very optimistic about fulfilling that dream. Yet, I have now been selected to be the vocalist with the Naples Swing Band, a 17-piece group of great musicians that play all the favorite music of the Big Band Era. I am continuing to meet so many new, very talented musicians who have retired to Naples, some who have played for famous performers - Sinatra, Rod Steward, Lizi Minelli, many Broadway shows, etc. My favorite venues are at several large downtown auditoriums, large retirement communities and country clubs and outdoor parks in Naples and on Marco Island. I'm continuing to learn from my talented new friends. Terry is my biggest fan and also my favorite Roadie!

These birthday wishes are a few days early, but didn't want to miss an opportunity to send you a Happy Birthday. If I were there, I would sing it to you. I still have such fond memories of your dad and how he asked me to sing "See Happy Harry at the Central Package Store!" That may have been the start of my singing career which is still going strong today! Hope all is well with you and your family. Lots of prayers for Israel!

I am sorry to hear about Dave. We were classmates for many years and I always thought he was such a very, very nice guy. I know he will be missed by many.
