Kathryn "Kay" (Mrs. Dale) Bodine, 42, 1605 N. Third St., died Tuesday, February 18, 1986, in The United Hospital.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service today, and 2 p.m. rosary service Thursday in Stennes Funeral Home, East Grand Forks. The family requests that memorials be sent to Sacred Heart Schools.
Kathryn Fischer was born May 26, 1943, in Glendive, MT, the daughter of Willis and Marie Fischer. The family moved in 1959 to Grand Forks, where she graduated from Central High School in 1961 and the UND School of Business Administration in 1965. She married Dale Bodine June 17, 1967 in Colorado Springs, CO and they lived in several places while he was stationed with the U.S. military. They moved to Grand Forks from Willmar, MN in 1984.
Survivors are her husband; sons, Tom and Matthew, and daughter, Amy, all at home; her mother, Marie Fischer, Green Valley, AZ; and brother John Fischer, San Francisco, CA. Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD.
