Robert “Bob” Mutcher, Sr. 83, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his home in Grand Forks.

Robert Eugene Mutcher was born on October 7, 1942, in Dresden, ND the son of Rudolph and Bertha (Anderson) Mutcher.  He was raised in Grand Forks and the surrounding area.  After high school, Bob was employed as a mechanic in Grand Forks.  He went on to own and operate Bob’s Auto in Grand Forks until his retirement.  Following retirement, he was employed with Menards in Grand Forks.

Bob married Mary Lundeen in 1964 at Grand Forks, ND.  Together they had a son, Robert Mutcher, Jr.  Mary preceded him in death December 10, 2021.   Bob married Theresa Devos on November 23, 1990, in Grand Forks.  Theresa preceded him in death on June 21, 2021.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his family at Lake Sarah in Minnesota, driving through the countryside, going to casinos and his tractor.  Most of all, Bob loved being with his children and grandchildren. Bob was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and a good friend to many people.

He is survived by his son, Robert (Lisa) Mutcher, Jr., Sioux Falls, SD; a stepson,  Jay Dee (Amanda) Mutscher, Grand Forks, ND; a stepdaughter, Terri Jo Mutscher, Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Larry Mutcher, Larimore, ND, Ralph Mutscher, Grand Forks, ND, Donald Mutscher, Grand Forks, ND, William Mutcher, East Grand Forks, MN; sisters, Linda Becker, Medford, OR, Gayle (Victor) Scaggs, Grand Forks, ND a sisters-in-law, Vicky Mutcher, Grand Forks, ND, Dianne Mutscher, Grand Forks, ND; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by parents, his wives, brothers, Ronald Mutscher, Johnny Mutcher, Merle Mutcher, and Gerald Mutcher, a sister, Shirley, a brother-in-law, Wayne Becker, sisters-in-law, Paula Mutcher, Darcy Mutscher, Irene Mutcher and Lil Mutcher.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in the Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral service in the funeral home on Tuesday.
Burial: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
